Undergraduate course

The college currently offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme, a five-and-a-half-year undergraduate medical degree that includes a compulsory internship. Admissions are conducted through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), followed by procedures as per the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). The curriculum focuses on evidence-based practice and hands-on skill development, ensuring graduates are versatile Ayurvedic practitioners capable of meeting today’s complex medical needs.

Postgraduate courses

The institute offers an extensive range of MD & MS (Ayurveda) programs, providing advanced clinical expertise, academic rigour, and research-driven training across specialized disciplines. All postgraduate programs at the institute are affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and strictly adhere to the standards, regulations, and curricula set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). With a high proportion of doctoral-level faculty (16), the college demonstrates strong research readiness and academic leadership.
