On January 15, 2026, the Department of Shalakya Tantra of Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier Ayurveda College organized a Vision Screening Camp and Awareness Class for the teachers, students, and parents of Manovikas Special School.
As part of the camp, vision screening examinations were conducted for both students and teachers. Special attention was given to primary eye health assessments and necessary guidance related to eye care.
Under the leadership of the Department of Kayachikitsa, VPSV Ayurveda College successfully organized an Ayurveda Medical Camp on January 31 at A.U.P. School, Mannazhi. The camp was conducted with the objective of delivering primary Ayurvedic healthcare services to the public and enhancing awareness about Ayurveda within the local community. The program commenced with a welcome address. In the introductory speeches delivered by the school management and teachers, the importance of traditional systems of medicine was emphasized. The initiative of organizing the medical camp for the welfare of the general public was widely appreciated by all.
Abhayam Charitable Trust, in collaboration with EMS Memorial Cooperative Hospital, Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital Palakkad, Educare Dental College Chattiparamba, Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier Ayurveda College Kottakkal, and the Kodur Neethi Medical Center, organized a health medical camp on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the premises of Chemmangadavu Palakkal School.
A medical camp was conducted by the College Union, VPSV Ayurveda College, at the landslide-affected Meppadi Village of Wayanad district from 07/08/2024 to 16/08/2024.
